JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Head of Treasury FX & MM
Job Purpose/Objectives:
� To Head the Treasury FX & Money Markets Unit and manage a team of dealers with the objectives of effectively managing the Bank's liquidity in all authorized currencies.
� To conduct within authorized limits profitable on balance sheet and off balance sheet money market and Foreign Exchange transactions with the aim of reducing cost of funds, maximizing returns and generating profits.

Principle Responsibilities:

� Head of a team of dealers to achieve the unit's financial objectives.
� Work closely with other business units to identify deposits/loans trends, and possible impact on Bank's liquidity.
� Work closely with other Treasury & Capital Markets units to identify funding needs e.g. Portfolio Management Unit.
� Formulate gapping strategies as appropriate.
� Work to identify seasonal liquidity trends and manage the Bank's liquidity and requirements accordingly.
� Come-up with ideas and formulate strategies to take advantageous of money market movements.
� Provide a comprehensive assessment on Money Market activities and highlight trends in various currencies during the regular management meetings.
� Constant follow-up of market changes, especially related to monetary and fiscal polices changes that would have impact on the direction of interest rates in the major markets.
� Protect the Bank's liquidity position in keeping good cash-flows reports, and adopting certain tolerance levels in managing liquidity.
� Use Repos, Reverse Repos, Swaps and any other available approved way of funding to ensure the best efficient way of funding the various activities of the Bank.
� Monitor the various money market books performance and formulate strategies in how to minimize loses during adverse movement by markets.
� Keep his supervisor alert of any changes or possible changes in money market rates, line availability and any related development that could have an impact in
