Ou client has developed a team of dedicated financial advisors in the area of Defined benefit pension schemes to respond to the growing demand for advisory services - from companies and primarily from trustees.

This service is delivered by the Recovery and Reorganisation team with links and support from the firm's corporate finance, pension scheme audit and personal tax practices.
Role

� Assessment of employer financial covenant and negotiation between the employer and trustees for a recovery plan
� Increasing the firms profile in this market through various means, including; giving presentations, attending conferences, writing technical articles for the trade press
� Building relationships with Actuaries, Pension Lawyers and firms of independent trustees
� Provide support and training to other members of the team
� Raising the teams profile internally and creating awareness of pensions related issues
� Opportunity of secondments to TPR, PPF or Actuarial firms
� Developing and maintaining relationships with trustees
� Identifying areas for new business development and targeting accordingly
� Participate in staff appraisals and overseeing staff development
� Excellent opportunities for advancement for the right individuals

Candidate

� Qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA or equivalent
� Experience of insolvency or corporate recovery and reconstruction or corporate finance
� Experience of dealing with pensions work and a sound knowledge of pensions schemes and the Pensions Regulator desirable but not essential
