Proprietary Investments

The Proprietary Investments unit undertakes all proprietary investments on behalf of the bank across the Middle East and globally. Through the implementation of a comprehensive due-diligence process both in house and in partnership with competent external institutions, the department undertakes investment exposure in various asset classes across various geographic regions.

The Proprietary Investments Unit undertakes the following activities;

• Public & Private Equity/Venture Capital
• Interest rate & Credit-linked Instruments/products
• Structured notes
• Regional & Global Debt Securities
