M&A Manager – Energy

You will be working on international and domestic transactions for corporate and owner-managed clients, private equity and financial institutions. You will be undertaking project management and delivery of M&A transactions. This will include taking responsibility for managing the transaction life-cycle, deal execution and reporting directly to senior team members.

To be considered for the role you will have a strong academic background and must have gained relevant corporate finance experience in an investment bank, big 4, private equity team, M&A Boutique or corporate business development role, with experience in energy transactions/project finance. The team will consider somebody that has limited M&A experience but strong energy (renewables, not oil & gas) experience and that can demonstrate commercial acumen and an ability to learn quickly.

Transaction Services Manager

We are working with a highly regarded and well established corporate finance boutique which specialises in advising entrepreneurial and aspiring businesses on all elements of corporate finance transactions, including acquisitions, selling their business and raising funds for growth.

Having experienced recent growth and several new additions to the team, they are now looking for a Transaction Support Manager to join the team in London.

The team has an impressive track record having completed over 500 transactions with a value exceeding £5bn, with transactions typically ranging from £5m - £30m. A lot of their work is buy-side transactions involving private equity firms, along with corporates looking to sell, acquire or raise funds.

The successful candidate will be able to quickly develop their corporate finance skills, undertaking due diligence assignments alongside providing ad hoc commercial advice on transactions. Due to the nature of the clients and the work, there is significant opportunity for exposure to the private equity community.

The ideal candidate will be academically strong (at least a 2:1 at degree level), ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and 18-24 months of corporate finance experience gained within a Big 4/professional services or corporate finance boutique.

The role is based can be based either in London or their office in the Thames Valley region however due to the location and nature of the clients, you will be expected to travel between the two locations when needed.

Commercial Finance Manager – Bridge Finance

A specialist financer that arranges join venture funding for large scale pre-planning land deals and developments is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to lead the bridge financing department in London.

They are leading providers of short-term bridge financing and long-term equity funding within the real estate sector.

As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be helping to set-up and deploy a new debt facility, working with a wide range of asset types e.g. planning contingent land deals, residential assets (including co-living, PBSA and PRS) and select commercial assets (including healthcare and leisure facilities).

The Role:

- Assist in conducting financial analysis
- Qualitative and quantitative appraisal of deals to establish viability
- Research and present market research on companies and industry sectors
- Attend briefing meetings and calls
- Working with the wider team to establish an efficient work-flow

Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role

Tax Manager

This well-established and entrepreneurial practice can offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax manager to undertake a leading role in the development of the firm.

The position will involve managing a mixed portfolio of both personal tax clients(which will include high net worth individuals) and corporate tax clients across a broad range of sectors and across a number of offices .In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing junior staff as well as supporting the partners on some challenging ad hoc project work.

A leading business advisory firm is looking for a Senior VP to join the London M&A team.

In addition to the usual M&A the team is busy working on accelerated and distressed M&A transactions across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in industrials and consumer.

Services include acquisition advisory, accelerated M&A, business disposals, equity and debt raising, management buy outs, refinacings and valuations for clients including corporates, management teams, private equity and lenders.

Responsibilities:

- Managing transactions and other projects, including managing communication with potential
clients, producing and presenting management presentations, producing sale documentation,
managing the due diligence process and ensuring risk management procedures are being
followed.
- Conducting valuations of businesses using a range of methodologies and producing reports.
- Managing the build and review of complex financial models.
- Carrying out negotiations as well as assisting Managing Directors with more complex
negotiations.
- Reviewing financial accounts and/or projections and critically analysing and testing.
- Leading business development activities.
- Assisting in development projects such as internal training, presentations etc.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

With a small team based in London, an analyst will be responsible for execution of active assignments and pitching for new mandates. An analyst will require the following experience and qualifications:

* Strong writing skills and experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word;
* Effective organisational skills and the aptitude to manage people and work products;
* Strong communication skills and experience interacting with teammates and clients;
* 1-3 years of professional experience in valuations, corporate finance, fixed income or accounting;
* Have a 2.1 degree from a leading university or international equivalent;
* Active AAT/ACCA and/or minimum CFA Level I is preferred, but not required

Mixed Tax Senior

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a tax specialist with rounded experience of personal and corporate tax experience to join this flourishing, burgeoning North London practice.

You will handle your own portfolio of clients which includes a mix of high net worth individuals and some non-domicile and non-UK resident clients .To complement these personal tax clients , you will also be responsible for a broad range of corporate tax clients, which include a range of owner managed business across a range of industry sectors.

In addition to managing the personal and corporate tax compliance , you will also be responsible for assisting the tax partner on a range of advisory assignments.

Ideally you will be ATT qualified and studying or keen to study for the CTA exams (although candidates qualified by experience will be considered) and possess a mix of personal and corporate tax experience.

In return , you will be offered plenty of variety in your tax role and be provided with the opportunity to progress to manager and partner.
