M&A Senior Manager/Associate Director

The successful and high-performing East Midlands based team is looking for a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join them.

They advise corporates, owner manager businesses and private equity houses with the full range of M&A services including capital raisings, buy-outs, acquisitions and divestments.

Day to day you will be leading M&A projects from origination through to completion, including;

- Preparing and creating teasers, pitch books, creating information memorandums etc
- Financial modelling, valuations and financial analysis
- Overseeing due diligence and leading and managing of project teams
- Actively participating in development of existing and new business relationships
- Mentoring, training and coaching junior team members

Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and will have a strong track record of executing M&A transactions.

TS Assistant Manager- Birmingham

Looking for an Assistant Manager within a global consultancy's Transaction Services team. You will be required to use your previous experience and work closely with senior and junior members within the team to assist in the timely delivery of services. You will gain an understanding and experience the field of financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or financial buyers and vendors, and or reporting accountants work. You will also have developed sector knowledge

*Support transaction services projects and the teams in the performance of hands on fieldwork.
*Manage smaller on site project teams, assuming responsibility for briefing, supervising and developing junior staff.
*Manage smaller projects or aspects of larger projects, with particular responsibilities for:
*project administration, including providing input into engagement letters, information requests, timetable and budgets
*target liaison, including monitoring information flow
*project management, including monitoring budgets and ensuring that work is completed within agreed deadlines
*managing workload to meet deadlines.
*Produce discrete sections of reports containing minimal errors, in a clear, concise manner.
*Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of risk management practices and processes.
*Develop a clear understanding of the client's business and their priorities.
*Identify and present solutions to potential issues including matters impacting risk or price to project managers.

*Provide a point of contact throughout the engagement dealing with requests and issues in a timely manner, in conjunction with senior members of the team.
·Provide clients with value-adding recommendations for improvements in processes and controls.
·Ensure client feedback is captured, addressed and effectively communicated to the Project Managers.
·Accompany more senior team members to meetings with clients as required, and assist with the preparation for and follow-up from such meetings.
·Support practice development activity and demonstrate an awareness of sales opportunities.
·Assist with administration and ad hoc projects within the department.
·Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams.
·Seek and take action on feedback.

·ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience.
·Experience of working within Transaction Services or related disciplines.
·Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
·For those involved in Capital Markets transactions a working knowledge of the relevant legislation.

About the role:

*Work alongside a designated director or partner on specific cases

*Draft Independent Business Reviews and other written output for review

VAT Specialist

A successful mid-tier accountancy practice in Nottingham is looking to appoint a VAT Specialist. This firm is one of the most progressive accountancy and advisory firms in the Midlands with nationwide offices.

In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have experience of offering advice on VAT from within practice or HMRC. You will ideally be ATT/CTA qualified or willing to study (full study support will be offered) and be an excellent communicator. You will be a driven self-starter and proactive in your approach.

Working closely with the London VAT department, you will:
- Provide advice to customers and develop relationships with internal referrers and existing customers
- Prepare VAT registration applications, complex VAT returns and research under the guidance of the Indirect Tax Partner

This successful International advisory firm based in the Midlands is looking for a Corporate Finance M&A Director. They seek an ambitious Corporate Finance Associate Director looking for the next step in their career or an experienced Corporate Finance Director looking for promotional opportunities. You will be based in its East Midlands office.
