The team has an impressive track record having completed over 500 transactions with a value exceeding Â£5bn, with transactions typically ranging from Â£5m - Â£30m. A lot of their work is buy-side transactions involving private equity firms, along with corporates looking to sell, acquire or raise funds.
Day to day you will be providing support to the senior team on transactions and developing the requisite skills to be able to take on more responsibility and manage transactions. You can expect to work with the team in preparing financial models and business plans, preparing company and market research, assisting with pitches, providing detailed analysis and financial information to clients etc.
The ideal candidate will be academically strong (at least a 2:1 at degree level), recently qualified in ACA/ACCA or equivalent, and will have likely gained audit experience within a Big 4 or other professional services firm. It would be preferable for you to have had some exposure to modelling as a minimum, but most importantly, you should be passionate about pursuing a career in this field.
