Banking and Investments
An overview of the key responsibilities of the role are as follow:
*Create detailed product program for cash, pricing of products, collaterals with marketing, legal, Sharia and different stakeholders for IBG countries
*Ensure product gaps and opportunities for product market penetration and commercialization is completed.
*GTB project management, close co-ordination with project stakeholders for project delivery and commercialization of products with revenue monitoring.
*Allocation of responsibility for different work streams considering different GTB projects.
*Resolution of roadblocks and facilitation of interaction with other units on behalf of IBG countries.
*Ownership of products and periodic review of GTB products lifecycle methodology.
*Provide regular product training to IBG country branches, RMs and Sales for IBG countries.
*Develop GTB customer delivery channels (Cash and Trade) and products to align it with the strategic intent of the Bank to maximize growth and value and be a leading bank in Transaction banking.
*Manage the GTB fee revenues through channel deployment and protect the business from revenue leakages.
*Lead and drive IBG IT PMO for delivery of GTB product development initiatives.
*Support in defining and prioritizing Channels and Cash Products road map with reference to customer needs, competitive landscape, regulations and bottom line to increase stakeholder value.
*Identify and implement innovative solutions and capabilities that enhance the channels ability to attract and retain GTB clients, incorporating and integrating different product features into it.
*Ensure training of channel and products to GTB sales and WBG sales/BBD sales within the organization.
*Communicate products, delivery channels updates, ensuring clear understanding of our product capabilities across various customer touch-points, including sales, relationship managers, implementation, etc.,
*Supporting sales and participating in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) from customers.
*Working with various stakeholders to enhance existing products or to develop new products, based on customer needs, competitor bench marking, and market research
*Monitor and analyze client and industry trends including competitor banks product capabilities to develop insights, product offering, and potential solutions for our clients.
*Development of business cases and requirement specifications to support new product recommendations.
*Draft Product Documentation for review and approval by required stakeholders (i.e. Product Brochures, Customer Agreements, Set-Up Forms, etc.)
*Ensure that all audit, legal, security, compliance, and regulatory considerations associated with the delivery of GTB products and services are addressed and documentations are in place duly approved.
Experience / skills required:
- Masters degree or equivalent
- 15 years of WBG experience of which at least 5 years must have been within cash product - management / development.
- Solid experience in managing the roll out of cash products and channels both domestically and internationally.
- Experience in rolling out CRM and Omni Channel solutions in MENA.
- Experience in managing stakeholders and influencing product delivery.
- Robust understanding of different cash systems.
