Accounting and Finance
Our client is a globally recognised firm based in London, that has recently witnessed a period of significant growth. They are looking for a commercially driven and ambitious candidate, who is willing to work hard in developing and establishing new business opportunities.
As a valued member of their team, you will provide independent and insightful valuation advice to clients in the UK mid-market, with a focus on AIM listed Plcs and PE-backed private companies.
Their advice can be relied upon by their clients for a variety of purposes - from straight commercial transactions, through corporate restructurings, tax planning, financial reporting, and through to expert witness work in a dispute scenario.
They work across a variety of sectors and encourage their employees to be generalists first and to develop sector specialisms in line with their own interests.
As a manager you will be responsible for:
- Developing relationships with Clients
- Liaising with Directors and Partners
- Managing junior staff
- Managing valuation projects
- Assisting with other sectors of the firm, such as Corporate finance and audit
- Supporting development in other teams within the firm
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working within a valuations team, and will be qualified to an ACA, ACCA or CFA level. It is essential that the candidate has experience in financial reporting, witness work, as well as commercial transactions. Experience in supporting auditing teams is very much desirable. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate strong technical and organisational skills, as well as problem solving abilities.
