Audit Senior (London) – 8 Partners – £50,000

Audit Senior - Central London (£48-50,000)

This prestigious central London firm are keen to bolster their audit department with a newly qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Senior.

This role will offer you wide ranging exposure as you will get to work on a varied client portfolio (e.g. IT consultants, property, media, professional services, charities, financial services etc) with turnovers of up to £100m.

You would be the first point of contact when liaising with the majority of your clients and get the chance to mentor Trainees and Semi-Seniors, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. As you will be hands-on during the audit process (planning to completion), it is important that you have had thorough experience of doing this in your current role. You must also have sound accounts preparation and corporation tax computation skills as this will also form part of your role. Overall role split will encompass 70% audit, 30% accounts + tax.

Progression to Supervisor will be on the cards should you prove yourself within the first year. They will offer you a highly competitive salary for your hard efforts.

Senior Financial Accountant – Croydon – £50-55k + benefits

Senior Financial Accountant (Croydon) - £50-55,000 + bonus + benefits

This exciting opportunity is very much suitable for a recently ACA qualified Senior Accountant who is looking to utilise their accounting skills from practice in a first move to industry.

You shall be working closely with the Group FC and be hands-on in the role.

Below are the duties & responsibilities for the Financial Accounting role for this £80 million turnover manufacturing business:

* Responsible for the preparation of the annual report and the interim statements
* Liaise with external advisers and external auditors on accounting matters
* Prepare the monthly group consolidation
* Support the month end close process
* Review month end balance sheet reconciliations
* Ensure subsidiary compliance to group accounting policies
* Bank covenant reporting and cash flow statement preparation

Reporting directly to Senior Management and the Corporate Tax Partner, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office's Corporate Tax department.

You will be part of a 25-strong Corporate Tax team, itself a key component of a broader tax service line of nearly 100 professionals. You will engage with clients across the firm, delivering a variety of fast-paced, deadline-driven projects. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are essential.

The client portfolio ranges from entrepreneurial growth businesses and large UK corporates to multinational groups, FCA-regulated entities, and AIM-listed PLCs. You will have the opportunity to work across diverse industries and provide real value.
