Group Accountant

Job description

The role will report into the Technical and Group Accounting Controller, and it will be responsible for supporting the Technical Group Accounting Controller in preparing management and external reporting for the Group on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as required, by applying investment entity accounting, preparing valuations and recording corporate/ fund transaction activity.

The role will also be responsible for supporting the fund finance activities of the Group and associated investment funds.

Essential:

* Qualified ACA (or equivalent), with relevant fund experience.
* Initiative, proactivity, enquiring approach, resourcefulness.
* Strong Excel skills.

Desirable:

* Big 4 (within external audit) with industry experience.
* IFRS technical accounting/ accounting policy experience (IFRS, FRS 102 and FRS 101).
* Valuations and/ or investment entity accounting experience.
* Adaptability, ability to embrace and respond positively to change.
* Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

This role is predominantly home based with occasional travel into the London office.
